High Quality Evergreen Laurel Hedging. Forming a dense, bushy, evergreen shrub with large glossy, dark green leaves.It makes an excellent hedging plant, and can cope with deep shade under trees was well as full sun. Small white flowers are produced on spikes in mid-spring.

Position: full sun, partial shade or shade

Soil: moist but well-drained soil, except shallow chalk

Rate of growth: fast-growing

Flowering period: April

Flower colour: White

Other features: a very versatile hedging shrub

Hardiness: fully hardy

Garden care: When planting incorporate lots of compost in the planting hole. Prune in either spring or summer. Mature plants can tolerate hard pruning in spring, cutting back to the old wood.

Eventual height: 5m

Eventual spread: 4m. Plants are easily maintained at a smaller height and spread by annual trimming.

Pack of 10 Plants, each supplied as very strong bushy plants full of vigour at a total height of approx. 40-60cm, for hedging purposes these are best set 45-60cm (2ft) apart.

A good alternative to Leylandii if you are concerned about maintenance, creating a luxury look with out maintenance head aches and fears of growing out of control.

After reading reviews for this Laurel I first ordered 20. They were so good and well grown that I ordered another 30. These were for my garden where I wanted to have something that would grow fast, look good and hide my fence. I was amazed at the quality of these Laurel. They were a good height, some higher than the 2ft and they were of exceptional quality. They arrived quickly and packaged well and had clearly been watered prior to despatch. I can't believe the size and quality of the 70 laurel plants that I bought they were in larger pots than advertised and 50% taller and multi stemmed the 3l plus size pots were completely full without being root bound. Thank you!!!

Amazing

Laurel

Ordered 40 Laurel for a hedge following a new drive. They arrived on one pallet and in excellent condition, you could tell they had been watered before being packaged. Only negative was I didn’t know a delivery date as tracking wasn’t working. Luckily we were on leave and at home when they arrived. Planted on the same day. Very pleased with the end result.
