Lavatera 'Marshmallow Ice White' is a graceful flowering annual admired for its silky, pure white blooms and long flowering season. This elegant shrub produces large, open trumpet-shaped flowers with delicately pleated petals throughout the summer months. Its upright habit creates a luminous display in borders and cottage gardens, while the crisp white flowers bring softness to mixed planting schemes. Ideal for sunny borders, wildlife gardens and large patio containers.
This Lavatera prefers fertile, well-drained soil in both sunny and sheltered positions. It performs best with regular watering in dry spells and benefits from deadheading to prolong flowering. Cut stems back lightly after blooming to maintain a compact shape. Pair with lavender for a soft, romantic planting combination full of movement and contrast.
