Leptospermum scoparium 'Apple Blossom' - New Zealand Tea Tree
Availability: In stock
Leptospermum 'Apple Blossom' is a beautiful evergreen shrub prized for its masses of double, light pink flowers that create a spectacular display in both spring and autumn. This upright-growing variety reaches up to 8ft tall and wide, forming an elegant, bushy specimen perfect for borders, coastal gardens or as a flowering feature plant. Tiny needle-like green foliage provides year-round interest and develops attractive pink tinges during colder weather. The buds open soft pink before maturing to pure white, creating a delightful two-tone effect across the plant.
This hardy and drought-tolerant shrub pairs amazingly with hebe, ceanothus and lavender to invoke a long season of colour and texture. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, as good drainage is essential for healthy growth. Once established, this evergreen requires little maintenance and cope swell with dry conditions. Also fully frost hardy, this shrub is perfect if you're looking for year-round structure and consistent seasonal flowers.
Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers.
