Ligustrum japonicum Rotundifolium - Curly Leaf Privet
Ligustrum japonicum 'Rotundifolium' is an unusual and eye-catching evergreen shrub, loved by gardeners for its dense, rounded habit and uniquely shaped, green leaves that are distinctively oval and slightly curled. This compact shrub forms a neat, bushy mound, bringing year-round structure and interest to borders, hedges, or containers. Small white flowers may appear in early summer, followed by black berries that attract birds, adding further wildlife appeal.
Easy to grow and tolerant of pruning, 'Rotundifolium' thrives in well-drained soil and a position in sun or partial shade. Its hardy nature, slow growth, and neat form make it perfect for low-maintenance hedging, topiary, or formal garden designs. Minimal care is required, simply trim as needed to maintain your desired shape.
Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
