Lobelia speciosa Starship Blue

Lobelia Starship Blue is a fantastic perennial plant, with intense blue flowers carried on tall stems 60-80cms tall. Compact and bushy, with attractive fresh foliage, these are ideal in a mixed border, coming in to their own in mid-late summer.

Why not try them blended with plants of other colours such as terracotta, oranges and yellows to make a fruity display that will zing. Great for a tropical themed garden. They do really well in a damp position, even on the margins of a pond planting, mulch for winter and watch them grow back bigger and better every year.

A distinctive and real show-off colour, these hardy lobelia really should be better know. The violet-blue flowers even look good cut for a vase in the home.

Looking good as pictured in season in approx. 2 litre containers these are super plants.
