Lunaria annua (biennis) - Violet

Lunaria annua 'Violet' is a charming cottage garden biennial producing clusters of bright, violet-purple flowers from late spring into summer. The fragrant, nectar-rich blooms are held above attractive green foliage, creating a colourful display that attracts pollinators into the garden. Following the flowers, distinctive translucent seed pods develop, maturing to a silvery sheen that provides exceptional ornamental interest through autumn and winter, making them ideal for dried flower arrangements.
