Lupin 'Javelin Blue' is an eye-catching Lupin that produces elegant spires of soft blue and creamy white pea-like flowers, each highlighted with a delicate golden-yellow keel. Flowering from late spring into early summer, this compact variety displays the blooms beautifully as they rise above attractive palmate foliage, creating a graceful display in cottage gardens, wildlife borders and patio containers.

Loved by pollinators, it grows to 60-90cm tall, bringing both colour and valuable pollinator appeal to the garden.

Plant Lupin 'Javelin Blue' in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Deadhead faded flower spikes to encourage repeat blooms and avoid waterlogged conditions during winter. Pair with Salvia or Geum and Nepeta for a classic cottage garden display.
