Mahonia Winter Sun, in one of the best Mahonias available, with sizeable spikes of bright yellow flowers appearing from November to March. The plant have attractive foliage carried in large rosettes of large, handsome, dark green, holly-like leaves.
The flowers of this lovely, upright, evergreen shrub are also fragrant, something like lily-of-the-valley, which is a delight to stroll past as the plants will positively appear to glow wintry sunshine. They are the perfect antidote to a dreary winters day when they are often looking at their most magnificent. The flowers are followed by highly ornamental bunches of round, deep purple-grey berries - hence the common name of Oregon Grape.
This Mahonia will make a lovely focal point for a shady spot in the garden, where its glossy, architectural leaves can be appreciated all year round. Our plants are of superb size and quality and supplied in approx 5 Litre Containers.
