Nerine bowdenii - Guernsey Lily - Pack of 12

Nerines are easy to grow bulbs that hail from South Africa, known as Guernsey lillies, as they first made it to these shores via the Channel Islands when a ship carrying the first bulbs to England was destroyed and ship wrecked in a storm whilst making passage, the bulbs washed ashore and grew, and the rest as they say is history.

Producing dramatic deep green leaves and flowers held like sparklers in beautiful shades of magenta-pink. Nerine bowdenii flowers late in the year, and is perfect to brighten up your garden in autumn as other plants are fading. These impressive plants will make outstanding flowers, and will grow well in a bright, well drained spot.
