Phygelius Moonraker - Yellow Flowering Cape Fuchsia

This special Phyygelius is a more compact variety, often wrongly referred to by some as a yellow fuchsia. 'Moonraker' is a long-flowering perennial with spikes of creamy-yellow (banana yellow as we call it on the nursery) flower trumpets from summer through autumn. Held on upright stems, the nectar-rich blooms are attractive to pollinators, bringing colour and wildlife to your borders. Its soft tones blend beautifully with cottage garden favourites and modern planting schemes alike, while its bushy habit provides structure.

Easy to grow and reliable, Phygelius 'Moonraker' thrives in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Perfect for mixed borders, wildlife gardens and large patio containers, it pairs beautifully with salvia, verbena and rudbeckia. Deadhead faded blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering and cut stems back in spring for a fresh display each year.
