Helenium hoopesii - Sneezeweed

Intense yellow, daisy-like blooms with a large central disc flower from August to September on tall, stately plants. Best suited to the back of a sunny, moist but well-drained border. It looks particularly attractive when plant with dahlias, cannas and other sneezeweeds to give that all important splash of late summer colour. Helenium's are versatile plants that love plenty of sunshine and moist soil. They rarely suffer from pests or diseases.
