Aster novi belgii 'Lady in Blue' - Michaelmas Daisy
Availability: In stock
One of the most reliable late-season performers, Aster novi-belgii ‘Lady in Blue’ bursts into colour just as many summer flowers begin to fade, keeping your garden vibrant well into autumn. This charming Michaelmas Daisy produces masses of violet-blue, daisy-like blooms with bright golden centres, creating a lively display from late summer through to the first frosts. Its bushy, upright habit makes it perfect for borders, cottage gardens and wildlife-friendly planting schemes, where it will attract bees and butterflies in abundance.
Thriving in a sunny position with moist, well-drained soil, ‘Lady in Blue’ is easy to grow and wonderfully rewarding. It requires low to moderate maintenance, simply cut back after flowering and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigour and encourage even more prolific blooms. Pair with ornamental grasses, Sedum, or late-flowering Rudbeckia for a richly textured, long-lasting autumn display.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
