Hosta 'Golden Tiara'

Product ref: P15087

Availability: Out of stock

One of the best newer hostas and an award winner, 'Golden Tiara' is a charming variety, valued for its fast-growing, compact habit and bright ornamental foliage. Its small, heart-shaped green leaves are beautifully edged with a golden-yellow margin, creating a fresh, glowing effect while delicate purple-striped flowers appear in summer, adding further seasonal interest.

Easy to grow and reliably low-maintenance, it thrives in shaded areas, requiring only regular watering and occasional tidying of spent leaves to keep it looking its best. Perfect for woodland gardens, edging paths, and shaded borders; plant in partial to full shade in moist, well-drained soil; protect from slugs; divide every few years to maintain vigour. Renowned for its rapid growth compared to many hostas, 'Golden Tiara' will quickly form an attractive, dense clump ideal for ground cover.

Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
