A truly lovely hosta, 'Albomarginata' is a classic and elegant shade-loving perennial, admired for its gracefully pointed green leaves edged with crisp white margins. The rippled foliage forms a dense, mounded clump, bringing light and contrast to darker areas of the garden, while soft lavender flowers add delicate vertical interest.
Exceptionally easy to grow, it's low-maintenance and reliable, only requiring consistent moisture and the removal of tired foliage to keep it looking fresh. Ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders and cottage gardens, it pairs amazingly with Japanese anemone and dicentra for a romantic display. Plant in partial to full shade in moist, well-drained soil, protect from slugs and divide every few years to maintain vigour.
