Hosta 'Aureomarginata'

Product ref: P25938

Availability: Out of stock

The magnificent perennial "Aureomarginata" is prized for its big, heart-shaped leaves with striking, golden-yellow margins that strikingly contrast with the deep green centres. This shade-loving plant adds vertical interest and charm to your garden with its tall spikes of lavender flowers in midsummer. It gives your garden texture and colour and is perfect for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or ground cover.

Plant in well-drained, moist soil in partial to full shade. In particular during dry spells, water the soil frequently to maintain a constant moisture content. Mulch to keep the soil moist and prevent weed growth. Defend against snails and slugs with natural repellents. Combine with astilbes or ferns to create a lush, textural garden arrangement. Throughout the growing season, take in the vivid foliage and delicate blooms of 'Aureomarginata'.

Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
