This remarkable intersectional peony produces huge, semi-double flowers in deep magenta-lilac, with each petal stained with darker veins and enclosing a cluster of golden-yellow stamens. Blooming from late spring to early summer, it produces a long-lasting, colourful show on robust, tall stems with rich, dark green leaves.

Plant in full sun or light shade, in well-drained, fertile soil. Water often during dry spells and trim back leaves in the autumn. Ideal for borders or as a focal point, it looks great alongside silver leaves or light blue perennials for a striking, contrasting garden design.
