Patio Mimosa Plant - Acacia armata

Fluffy yellow, sweetly scented ball-shaped flowers cover the branches above handsome evergreen foliage.

Originating in Australia, the plant also has the common name of Kangaroo thorn. Making an attractive specimen on the patio in a roomy container, it also makes an ideal conservatory plant if you have room.

It does best outside in southern gardens that remain sheltered and frost free during winter, and will become a magnet for butterflies and beneficial insects when in bloom.
