Patio Fruit Tree - Plum 'Little Vic' - Prunus domestica Victoria

Product ref: FT23446

Availability: In stock

If you love the taste of plums from yesteryear, or simply want to eat more fruit as part of a healthy lifestyle, you need one of these - a minature versions of all time favourite Plum tree Victoria.

A massive garden is not needed as these will thrive in patio planters and can be easily kept as compact miniature trees - a replicata of large garden trees with simple pruning. The fruit is of normal size, it is just the tree itself that remains compact - the queen of plums, quite literally, originally named after Queen Victoria.

They will produce delicious full sized fruit in the first year after planting and grow no larger than 1.8m provided they are given an annual trim.

Keep in tubs on the patio and enjoy the delightful spring blossom that is followed by the vivid coloured fruit.

Why not plant a few trailing plants around the base to create an interesting effect.

Self-fertile, vigorous and ready to grow quickly.

Supplied in an approx 5 litre container.

plants

my plants were a little slow in being sent but when they arrived they were well packaged and healthy. excellently priced too when taking advantage of the sale. I have given them to a friend for his birthday and am looking forward to him suppling me with pears and blackberries later this year.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
