Pennisetum glauca 'Purple Majesty' is a spectacular ornamental millet that brings dramatic height, rich colour and architectural interest to summer planting schemes. Its upright stems are clothed in broad foliage that matures to deep burgundy-purple, creating a distinct backdrop for colourful flowering plants. From mid-summer, velvety purple-brown flower spikes rise above the foliage, adding texture and movement. This impressive ornamental grass is perfect for adding structure to borders and contemporary displays.

Perfect for sunny borders, prairie-style gardens and large patio containers, 'Purple Majesty' thrives in a warm, sheltered position with well-drained soil.
