Panicum virgatum Northwind - Switch Grass

Switch grass ‘Northwind’ is a beautiful perennial grass with blue-green leaves that turn yellow and orange in the autumn. This plant is a great way of adding some diversity to your garden with a different texture to your other plants and changing colours through the seasons. It flowers from late summer into mid-autumn, treating you to displays of tiny pink and green blooms.

Grow this grass in full sun in a well-drained soil; most types of soil will suit this plant well but avoid clay. It can be grown in an exposed or sheltered position in any aspect so is a very versatile addition to your garden.
