Pieris japonica ‘Cupido’ - Extra Large Specimen
Availability: In stock
Pieris japonica ‘Cupido’ is a compact evergreen shrub that delivers four seasons of interest in the most refined package. Rich, glossy green foliage remains beautiful year-round, with new red-tinged growth adding flair in spring. This low-maintenance shrub thrives in partial shade and acidic, well-drained soil. To keep 'Cupido' looking its best, remove faded flower clusters after blooming and mulch annually with ericaceous compost.
Its neat, dome-shaped habit grows to around 80–100cm tall, making it ideal for courtyards, woodland, Japanese and small gardens. In early spring, it bursts into life with cascades of dainty, bell-shaped white flowers that resemble lily-of-the-valley, charming pollinators and passersby alike. It pairs beautifully with Camellias, Rhododendrons, and Hostas, creating lush, layered planting schemes.
Supplied in approx. 10 litre containers.
