Pink Cordyline 'Southern Splendour' - Stunning Hardy Torbay Palm

Product ref: PP23628

Availability: Out of stock

One of the original Pink forms of Cordyline, the stunning Southern Splendour remains ones of the best, with attractive pink margined foliaged and an easy going constitution.

Pink Cordyline Southern Splendour is perfect for adding garden interest to your beds and borders or patio planters, offering an unusual colour choice that is quite different to other varieties you may have seen before. Dark bronze foliage with a wide, distinctive pink edging. The bright pink colouration is combined with tactile foliage, bold arching leaves that are almost reminiscent of a phormium.

These Cordylines can be drought resistant plants too, so are ideal for the gardener who occasionally forgets to water on those hottest days - although of course they will benefit from being kept moist during the hottest weather. We recommend growing them in large containers with good drainage or as feature plants in sheltered spots of the garden. The striking look will makes a fantastic focal point and add a touch of the exotic to your garden what ever the size. Despite the exotic appearance, Southern Splendour Cordylines are hardy to as low as around -6 °C.

Supplied in approx. 1-2 litre containers, these colourful specimens with instant appeal on delivery, wherever you choose to locate them.

Pink Cordyline

First time ordering a plant online and was impressed how well it was packaged up. It arrived quickly and no damage at all. I bought a very large pot to put it in the corner of my garden to add a lovely pop of colour. I will definitely order from here again.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
