Pittosporum tenuifolium Gold Star (Abbotsbury Gold) - Large

Pittosporum tenuifolium Abbotsbury Gold is a fantastic evergreen with multiple seasons of interest. It is loved for its unusually coloured leathery foliage, pale yellow when young and darker green when mature. In late spring and early summer it will fill the air with a lovely perfume from insignificant honey-fragranced, dark purple flowers. 

This highly decorative evergreen will thrive in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Although it can manage partial shade, this plant’s foliage won’t be as vivid and striking as it would be in a sunny spot. A New Zealand native, Pittosporum Abbotsbury Gold works well as a specimen plant in a mixed border or as a feature in a roomy planter. Supplied in 10 litre containers.
