The Victoria plum tree is a timeless British favourite, loved for its heavy crops of large, oval, red-flushed fruit with golden, juicy flesh. Perfect for eating fresh, cooking, or preserving, Victoria is one of the most versatile and reliable plum varieties. Harvested in late summer, the plums have a rich, sweet flavour and are ideal for pies, jams, or simply enjoying straight from the tree. Victoria is self-fertile, so it doesn't need a pollination partner, making it perfect for smaller gardens or standalone planting. Prune in late summer to maintain shape and avoid disease. Grow alongside Greengage or Opal plums for a varied and extended fruiting season.
