Pumpkin 'Jack O'Lantern' is the quintessential carving pumpkin, its classic round shape, sturdy handles and bright orange colour make it arguably the most popular pumpkin variety. It produces uniform fruits typically weighing 4-8kg, making them the perfect size for carving spooky faces, creating autumn displays or decorating doorsteps. Beneath the smooth skin lies firm orange flesh that can also be used for soups, roasting, pies and other seasonal dishes. This pumpkin truly maximises both visual and culinary appeal!

Fast-growing and productive, 'Jack O'Lantern thrives in a sunny position with rich, fertile soil and plenty of space for its vines to spread out. Regular watering is essential during dry periods, especially while the fruits are swelling. Feeding fortnightly with a potassium-rich fertiliser will encourage larger, healthier pumpkins. Harvest once the fruits have developed a deep orange colour and hardened skin, ideally before the first frosts.

Easy to grow with a rewarding harvest, Pumpkin 'Jack O'Lantern' is the perfect choice for creating traditional Halloween pumpkins straight from your own garden.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
