Pumpkin 'Lumina White' is an eye-catching variety celebrated for its smooth, ghostly-white fruits that will stand out amazingly in garden displays and Halloween arrangements. Producing medium to large pumpkins weighing 4-8kg, this unique variety combines ornamental appeal with practical versatility. With a variety of culinary uses, its unusual colouring also makes it perfect for seasonal decorating and contemporary harvest themes.
Easy to grow and rewarding, 'Lumina White' develops trailing vines that flourish in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Fruits mature from pale green to an ivory-white as the season progresses, creating a spectacular harvest. Regular watering during dry weather and occasional feeding with a high-potash fertiliser will encourage healthy growth and larger pumpkins. Harvest once the skins have fully coloured and hardened, leaving a section of stem attached to improve storage life.
