Pumpkin 'Mammoth Gold' is a traditional giant pumpkin variety prized for its large fruits, rich golden-orange colour and reliable garden performance. This variety impressively bears pumpkins that can reach 20-45kg or more when grown under favourable conditions. The thick, bright orange flesh is sweet and flavoursome, making it excellent for soups, roasting, pies and preserving, while the sheer size of the fruits makes them a spectacular choice for autumn displays and competition.

'Mammoth Gold' is also a rewarding variety for gardeners looking to grow truly impressive pumpkins. It thrives in full sun and moisture-retentive soil, maturing in around 110-120 days. The sprawling vines require plenty of space and benefit from regular watering during dry periods and frequent feeding with a high-potash fertiliser once fruits begin to form. For the largest pumpkins, limit each plant to a few fruits and remove excess flowers early in the season. Harvest before the first frosts and cure in the sun to improve storage life.

Combining giant proportions, excellent flavour, and traditional pumpkin appeal, Pumpkin 'Mammoth Gold' is a standout variety that is guaranteed to attract attention in any autumn harvest.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
