Pumpkin 'Tom Fox' 15kg+ is a selected strain of the popular Tom Fox from plants typically yielding larger sized pumpkins 15kg+
This is the go-to variety for classic autumn displays and Halloween carvings. Renowned for its ribbed, deep-orange skin, strong, woody stems and traditional rounded shape, 'Tom Fox' delivers the quintessential pumpkin look. Its attractive fruits typically weigh around 15kg with this straight, an excellent size for carving, decorating, and seasonal displays. Its thick flesh and sturdy structure help pumpkins hold shape well, making them spectacular Jack O'Lanterns.
Performing best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, 'Tom Fox' pumpkins contain dense, sweet flesh that is excellent for roasting, baking, soups and autumn recipes. Regular watering during dry spells and feeding with a potassium-rich fertiliser throughout the growing season will encourage healthy plants and larger fruits. Harvest once the pumpkins have developed a rich orange colour and hardened skin, ideally before the first frosts.
Combining classic Halloween character, dependable performance, and excellent eating qualities, Pumpkin ‘Tom Fox’ is a superb choice for gardeners looking to grow traditional showpiece pumpkins.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
