Rhododendron 'Horizon Monarch' - Patio Tree circa 50-60cm

Rhododendrons are one of the most popular shrubs in the UK known for being low maintenance and reliable, ‘Horizon Monarch’ is no exception. An evergreen shrub growing up to 2 metres high its leathery, dark green leaves give your garden a lovely colour all year round. Clusters of dark pink buds open up into large funnel shaped flowers, which are a beautiful creamy yellow inside and have flairs of pale pink on the outside. These flowers open up in late spring and remain through the start of summer giving your garden some amazing delicate early colour! This plant is a statement piece working perfectly solo planted in a patio container and it can also be used in a border adding structure. 

Like other Rhododendrons ‘Horizon Monarch’ does best in slightly acidic soil and in a moist but well-drained area. Thriving best in partial shade make sure your plant doesn’t get too much sun and is sheltered from cold winds.

Supplied at around 50-60cm tall in approx. 3 litre containers.
