Rhododendron Matador

Known for its blazing red blooms that are sure to turn heads in any garden, the rhododendron 'Matador' is a visually striking hybrid type. During 'Matador's' late spring flowering time, each petal of the huge, brilliant blossoms has a rich, deep crimson hue that can add dramatic flare.

Reaching a height and spread of roughly 1.5 to 2 metres, 'Matador' is ideal for growing as a specimen plant in a prominent garden site or as a focal point in woodland gardens or mixed borders. It enjoys a spot with a little shade to help prevent the vibrant colour of the blossoms from fading from too much sun. It grows best in acidic, well-drained soil.

Supplied as large bushy plants in approx 5 litre containers.
