Rosa rugosa 'Jam-A-Licious' is a compact, deciduous shrub reaching approximately 1 metre in height. It features rich pink, single blooms with prominent yellow stamens from early to midsummer, followed by scarlet hips in early autumn. The fresh green foliage darkens to reddish-green in autumn, adding seasonal interest.Â
Pair 'Jam-A-Licious' with other sun-loving perennials such as lavender or salvia to create a vibrant border. Its compact size also makes it suitable for container planting, allowing for versatile placement in the garden. Rosa Rugosa likes full sun and partly shaded areas and is suitable in almost all well-drained soil. Its hardy nature means it can handle exposed and sheltered spots in the garden.
