Rosa 'Madame Alfred Carrière' is a much-loved old climbing rose, celebrated for its near-thornless stems and profusion of creamy white, blush-tinted blooms. Strongly scented with a sweet, fruity fragrance, the large, loosely double flowers appear repeatedly from early summer right through to autumn. Vigorous yet graceful, it’s an ideal rose for arches, walls, pergolas, or even training up into trees.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Train and tie in new shoots to encourage coverage, and prune lightly in late winter or early spring. Perfect for cottage gardens, entrances, or fragrant displays where its beauty and perfume can be enjoyed up close.
Supplied in approx. 3-5 litre containers.
