Rudbeckia fulgida Deamii - Black Eyed Susan

A dependable, hardy perennial prized for its spectacular late-summer colour and long-lasting performance, Rudbeckia fulgida 'Deamii' flowers from July into October. It produces masses of golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers, each surrounding a dark brown central cone. The flowers create a wonderful habit that makes 'Deamii' excellent for adding warmth and structure to borders as other summer plants begin to fade.

Perfect for cottage gardens, wildlife gardens and prairie-style schemes, Rudbeckia 'Deamii' thrives in full sun/partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Deadhead regularly to extend the display, or leave some seed heads standing for attractive autumn and winter structure. Rudbeckia works very well with crocosmia, asters and salvia.
