Giant Flowered Rudbeckia - Summerdaisy Golden Sun - In Bud & Bloom

Why not enhance your summer and autumn garden displays with the Summerdaisy series of Giant Flowered Rudbeckia. Each features masses of blooms that vary in size, with the largest reaching four to six inches in diametre - making a bold and dramatic impact. With their warm pallet of colours, they create a striking effect, in beds, borders of even pation planters. Producing their flowers from midsummer to early autumn, these are a real stand out plant, also much loved by garden friends such as helpful honey bees.

Ideal in full sun with moist, well-drained soil where they'll thrive, they'll also happily perform in a partially shaded position. If you want to encourage prolonged blooming, simply deadhead spent flowers from time to time. Cut plants back near ground level in late autumn and mulch the crowns, and they'll come back and do it all again next year. Try it with other Rudbeckia from the Summerdaisy Series, Echinaceas and Ornamental Grasses such as Stipa and Panicum for a rich, prairie-style planting scheme full of texture and seasonal interest.
