Rhododendron 'Eucharitis'

Providing colour early in the season and year-round foliage this shrub is a must have! Blooming from late spring to early summer, ‘Eucharitis’ produces a profusion of pale pink, trumpet shaped flowers. The petals of these blooms are absolutely amazing with a vibrant pink edge that contrasts perfectly against the pale pink centres, which are flecked with deep red speckles. An evergreen, this Rhododendrons’s dark green leaves remain all year round and help to highlight the vivid blooms. This bright exotic looking shrub works amazingly as a specimen piece in a patio container but is also a great addition to a mixed border scheme. With an ultimate height and spread of 1-1.5 metres ‘Eucharitis’ also suits smaller areas of gardens pressed for space. 

Similarly to other Rhododendrons ‘Eucharitis’ requires slightly acidic soil and prefers to be placed in a moist but well-drained area. This shrub is best suited to sheltered gardens and should be protected from cold winds. Make sure to plant in full sun or partial shade.
