Salix Palmowa - Palm Willow
Salix Palmowa (Palm Willow) is a distinctive ornamental willow prized for its elegant, narrow foliage and graceful, arching branches that create a soft, flowing appearance in the garden. Its slender silver-green leaves provide excellent texture and movement throughout the growing season, making it a key specimen for contemporary landscapes, wildlife gardens and mixed shrub borders. Highly adaptable, this unusual willow brings year-round interest and natural charm to larger garden spaces.
Reaching approximately 3–5m in height with a similar spread, Palm Willow is ideal for use as a feature shrub, informal screen or focal point near water. Its attractive foliage pairs beautifully with moisture-loving perennials. Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil, although it will tolerate wetter conditions than many shrubs. Easy to maintain, prune in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh growth and maintain its elegant shape.
Supplied in approx. 3 litre container with a clear stem of 60cm at around 100cm tall.
