Salix udensis Golden Sunshine

Known by most as Gold Leaf Willow, Salix udensis 'Golden Sunshine' is a magnificent deciduous shrub prized for its vivid golden-yellow foliage. This striking willow adds a pop of colour to the garden, especially in the spring when the newly sprouted leaves show off a striking gold hue. The foliage keeps its vivid colour as the season goes on, making for an eye-catching display. Any landscape is enhanced with a hint of elegance by its flowing, graceful branches.

Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Water frequently to keep the soil continuously moist, especially during dry spells. For the purpose of keeping shape and promoting vigorous new growth, prune from late winter to early spring. "Golden Sunshine" is ideal for bordering water features and adding vibrant, year-round interest.
