Sedum Sparkler 'Plum Dazzled'
Availability: Out of stock
Sedum SunSparkler 'Plum Dazzled' is a compact, mound-forming perennial that adds vivid colour to your garden. This type has plum-purple, serrated leaves that retain its rich colour throughout the growing season. From late summer to early autumn, it produces large clusters of huge, cherry-pink, star-shaped blooms that stand out against the dark foliage. 'Plum Dazzled' is ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, borders, and pots, and it also works well as a weed suppressant. Its thick, well-branched habit prevents it from splitting open in the summer, resulting in an appealing look.
Prefers full sun and grows in well-drained, sandy or loam soil. It is drought-tolerant once planted, making it ideal for low-maintenance landscapes. This robust sedum can resist temperatures as low as -25°C, making it suitable for a variety of regions. Plant in a sunny place with well-drained soil. Water sparingly and let the soil to dry in between waterings. 'Plum Dazzled' takes little maintenance; simply remove old flower heads and trim back in late autumn or early spring to promote new growth. Its modest size, up to 20 cm tall and 45 cm broad, makes it excellent for small areas and container gardening.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
