Sequoiadendron giganteum - Giant Redwood

Product ref: N28182

Availability: In stock

Make a truly monumental statement with Sequoiadendron giganteum, one of the world’s largest and longest-living trees. Known for its towering stature, thick cinnamon-brown bark, and strong conical form, this majestic evergreen develops dense sprays of rich green foliage. While it will eventually grow to an enormous size in open ground, its slow early growth means it can be enjoyed as a striking specimen in large gardens for many years.

Thrives in full sun with deep, fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly in its early years and mulch to keep roots cool. Best suited to large gardens, parks, or estates. Pair with Cedrus deodara, Pinus nigra, or Quercus robur to create a bold, long-term landscape of architectural evergreens and heritage trees.

Supplied in approx. 5 litre containers.
