Skimmia japonica Finchy - Young Plant
Skimmia japonica Finchy is a small evergreen shrub, with dense glossy green foliage and green/creamy coloured flower buds throughout the autumn and winter months right up to spring time. For a dramatic and modern look in the garden or a patio planter it is hard to beat when very little else is showing any winter colour. Come Spring time, the colourful buds burst open in to star shaped flowers with a fragrance that is second to none.
Perfect for planters on the patio, or garden beds and borders, Skimmia Finchy will even thrive in a somewhat shady spot. It does best if kept moist on well drained soil. Forming a fairly compact plant, Skimmia Finchy grows to around 60-80cms in height and spread at maturity. Be sure to plant somewhere where the scent can be most appreciated when the attractive buds burst forward in Spring.
Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
