Spiraea japonica Sparkling Champagne

Product ref: S28718

Availability: Out of stock

Spiraea japonica ‘Sparkling Champagne’ is a stunning deciduous shrub prized for its ever-changing foliage and masses of delicate pink flowers. Fresh spring growth emerges in vibrant shades of gold, orange and bronze before maturing to bright green, creating a striking backdrop for the fluffy clusters of soft pink blooms that appear from early to mid-summer. This compact, colourful variety brings season-long interest to borders, wildlife gardens and mixed shrub beds, while attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Growing up to 1m in height and spread, ‘Sparkling Champagne’ forms a neat, rounded habit that is easy to maintain. Once established, it is hardy, reliable and tolerant of a range of garden conditions. For best results, prune back lightly in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh colourful growth and abundant flowering. Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil.

Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers.
