Spiraea japonica 'White Gold'
Spiraea japonica 'White Gold' is a compact, deciduous shrub that dazzles with its unique combination of bright golden foliage and pure white flower clusters. Blooming from late spring to mid-summer, the small, fluffy white flower heads stand out beautifully against the vibrant yellow-green leaves. As autumn arrives, the foliage deepens to a warm, golden hue, adding seasonal interest. Its dense, mounding habit makes it perfect for borders, rockeries, or as a ground cover.
Thriving in well-drained, fertile soil and full sun to partial shade, 'White Gold' is hardy and easy to maintain. Prune back hard in late winter to promote fresh growth and enhance the next season’s blooms. Pair with contrasting purple or blue perennials like Salvia or Nepeta for a striking garden display.
Supplied in approx. 1.5 litre containers.
