Strawberry 'Elsanta' is a highly popular and vigorous variety that is widely planted by farms and home growers. Chances are you will have eaten this variety before from the shops. It will produce bright red, large glossy strawberries that are very tasty and nicely aromatic - there is nothing quite like having you own mouthwatering strawberries ripened in the summer sunshine at home on your own plants - they certainly won't all make it back to the kitchen!
Elsanta will provide good high yielding crops on robust plants - suitable for growing by beginners or experienced hands thanks to its easy going nature and good pest and disease resistance. Elsanta performs well in a wide range of growing conditions and soils, it can be grown in the garden or in large pots.
