Strawberry Plant 'Fresca'
Availability: Out of stock
Wave goodbye to costly store-bought strawberries with our Strawberry 'Fresca' plants and grow your own at home! A late-season variety, the fruit will be ready to harvest towards the end of summer, though its growing season can be extended by using a greenhouse. Its tidy growth habit makes it perfect for patio pots, window boxes and hanging baskets where space is limited. Producing firm, flavoursome fruits, these strawberries are excellent eaten fresh, added to desserts, or used in jams and preserves.
This easy-to-grow strawberry benefits from regular watering during dry weather and occasional feeding with a high-potash fertiliser once flowering begins. Remove old foliage after fruiting to keep plants healthy and productive. Plant in full sun and sheltered for the sweetest harvests and to maximise fruit production.
Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
