Apple Tree - Katy Bush (MM106)
Availability: Out of stock
Brighten your garden with the cheerful charm of the Katy Apple Tree, a reliable, early-cropping variety that delivers a burst of sweetness with every bite. In spring, it’s adorned with masses of soft pink and white blossoms, creating a stunning seasonal display and attracting plenty of pollinators.
By summer to early autumn, the tree is laden with vibrant, red-skinned apples with creamy white flesh. These juicy, crisp fruits are bursting with a refreshing, sweet-sharp flavour, perfect for snacking, juicing, or making cider.
Â
'Katy' is a compact, easy-care bush that fits beautifully into smaller gardens, family spaces, or container patios. It revels in full sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil, whether loamy or sandy. Minimal pruning is needed; only remove dead or crossing branches in winter. Feed in early spring with a balanced fertiliser and mulch annually to lock in moisture.
Â
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a MM106 rootstock, this semi-dwarf variety of rootstock reaches an ultimate height of 3-5m and most of the crop should be accessible from the ground, picking fruit from higher up on the tree may require a ladder.Â
