Plum Tree - Haganta Bush (Julien A)
Availability: Out of stock
This Haganta Bush variety is a real showstopper, producing some of the largest plums you’ll ever see. In spring, it’s covered in a froth of snowy white blossoms, followed by handsome green foliage. By late summer into early autumn, the branches are laden with enormous oval plums, flushed deep blue-purple. Juicy, aromatic, and wonderfully sweet, they’re perfect for eating fresh, baking into crumbles, or turning into rich jams.
Compact and easy to manage, this bush form is ideal for family gardens, orchards, or fruit borders, giving impressive harvests without taking up too much space. It thrives in full sun and enjoys fertile, well-drained soil. Light pruning in winter keeps it neat and encourages new fruiting wood, while watering during dry spells ensures plump, juicy crops. The hardy and reliable Haganta Bush is a must-have for gardeners who want both beauty in spring and a bumper harvest of delicious, giant plums in autumn.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a St. Julien rootstock. This semi-vigorous variety produces trees smaller than their own roots, reaching an ultimate height of around 2m, perfect for smaller gardens. St. Julien can thrive in a wide variety of soil types.
