Amelanchier laevis 'Snowflakes' - Serviceberry Tree
Availability: In stock
Bring year-round elegance to your garden with Amelanchier laevis 'Snowflakes', a graceful tree that truly lives up to its name. In early spring, it bursts into life with a flurry of pure white flowers, resembling falling snowflakes, set against bronzed young leaves. As the season progresses, its foliage turns rich green, followed by small purple-black berries loved by birds. Finally, come autumn, the leaves ignite in shades of fiery orange.
Perfect for woodland gardens, mixed borders, or as a specimen in smaller spaces, ‘Snowflakes’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, acidic to neutral soil. It’s easy to care for, just remove crossing branches in winter if needed. This tree pairs beautifully with rhododendrons, or heucheras, complementing both its blossom and autumn tones. Plant in a sheltered, lightly shaded spot to enjoy four seasons of beauty with minimal effort.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers.
