Malus 'R J Fulcher' is a stunning ornamental crab apple tree that offers beauty from spring through to winter. In April and May, it bursts with soft pink blossom that attracts pollinators, followed by glossy green leaves that create a rich backdrop through summer. By autumn, the tree glows with small, deep red fruits, adding colour and feeding birds well into the colder months.
This crab apple is perfect as a feature tree for cottage gardens and mixed borders. It thrives in full sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil, performing well in most soil types. Low-maintenance and hardy, it only requires light pruning in winter to remove dead or crossing branches. A true all-rounder, ‘R J Fulcher’ brings colour, structure, and wildlife interest to any garden.
