Salix caprea 'Pendula' - Weeping Kilmarnock Willow
Availability: Out of stock
A charming small tree, Salix caprea 'Pendula', also known as the Weeping Kilmarnock Willow, is loved for its cascading branches and early spring display. Before the leaves emerge, the bare stems are adorned with soft, silvery catkins that are a magnet for bees and other pollinators. As the season progresses, rounded green leaves appear, forming a dense, arching canopy that brings texture and movement to the garden. In autumn, the foliage turns buttery yellow for added seasonal interest.
Â
Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position with moist, well-drained soil. Salix 'Pendula' is easy to care for, needing only light pruning in late winter or early spring to remove dead wood and maintain its elegant shape.

Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers.
