A classic native tree, Sorbus Aucuparia, commonly known as the Rowan or Mountain Ash Tree, is cherished for its airy form, seasonal beauty, and wildlife value. In late spring, it produces clusters of creamy-white flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. These are followed by bright orange berries in late summer and autumn, a favourite with birds. Its feathery green leaves turn brilliant shades of orange, red, and yellow in autumn, creating a fiery seasonal display.
Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position with well-drained, fertile soil. This versatile tree is perfect for wildlife, cottage-style, or naturalistic gardens where a light, elegant structure and year-round interest are appreciated. Sorbus aucuparia is easy to care for, needing only light pruning in late winter or early spring to maintain its shape and remove any dead or crossing branches.
Supplied in 12 litre containers at Circa 2m tall
